Never. The printed QR encodes a fixed address (getqrcard.com/q/XXXXXXX) assigned to you once and for all. Only the contents shown behind it can be changed — as often as you like, including on the free plan.

The free card has no time limit: one business card, its permanent QR, contents you can edit for life, and saving to your contacts' phones. The confirmed card, at €15/year, additionally shows the holder's name as confirmed by your payment provider, and allows several cards, bulk generation, statistics and a hosted PDF document.

No — neither you nor the person scanning. Any phone camera opens the card, and the save button uses the standard contact format recognised by both iPhone and Android.

When you pay your yearly subscription, your payment provider authenticates the account holder — a legal requirement in Europe — and returns their name to us. We then display “name confirmed on …”. We never write “identity verified”: the name may belong to a shared account or a company. It is the passage through the bank that verifies, not the fact of having paid.

Never, neither on the free plan nor on the paid one. Your details are never resold or used for advertising.

Yes, from Account → Billing. Cancelling simply returns you to the free card at the end of the period already paid for.

Yes: the IP address is never stored in plain text (hashed and salted daily); only the country, device type and date are kept. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics.

As long as your account exists, the printed address stays valid — including on the free plan, which has no end date. It is precisely for that promise that the service is run by a non-profit rather than a start-up that can shut down overnight.

Yes, with bulk generation included in the confirmed card: create as many cards as you need and download a sheet of QR codes ready to print.

Title, surname, first name, job title, company, a note, mobile and office phone, e-mail, website, LinkedIn, postal address and a photo. The confirmed card also lets you attach a PDF document of up to 5 MB — brochure, menu, invitation.

A paper card becomes wrong the moment your number, job title or employer changes, and the whole box has to go. Here you correct the contents online and the copies already handed out show the new version. Your details also land straight in the other person's phone, instead of waiting in a pocket to be retyped — which almost never happens.

You return to the free card: your very first card stays active and editable, free of charge and with no time limit. Extra cards are paused — never deleted — and become active again if you resubscribe to the yearly plan. The confirmed-name mention does disappear, since it rests on an ongoing payment.
