What your money funds.
GetQRcard isn’t built to enrich anyone. Here’s simply what happens with what you pay.
Real costs first, never anything else
Every subscription first pays what it actually costs to run GetQRcard: hosting, domain name, email, backups, and the development time needed to maintain and improve the service. If there’s a surplus once those costs are covered, it doesn’t go into a shareholder’s or investor’s pocket — GetQRcard is published by a non-profit, which has no shareholders. That surplus directly funds the field work of Le Chemin Numérique.
Le Chemin Numérique: supporting primary schools in Wallonia
In practice, your subscription can help fund these actions, carried out with school leadership, staff and families:
Digital usage diagnostics
An honest assessment of a school’s equipment, safety and usage, with priorities set together and an action plan matched to its real resources.
Student workshops
Passwords, social media, inappropriate content: concrete activities, adapted to each age group, to build digital awareness in a climate of trust.
Staff and parents
A staff workshop or a parents’ evening around a specific need, to move the school and families forward together, not each on their own.
EDU Filter
A pilot DNS internet filter designed for schools: scope defined with the school, minimized data, infrastructure hosted in Belgium.
Annual follow-up
A dedicated contact for each supported school, adjustments throughout the year, and practices that stay up to date.
